Our Experience
My professional commercial background and experience consists of working as a Hazardous Materials Specialist for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and includes thirty two years in cargo tank inspections, cargo tank facility compliance investigations, and commercial industry education. In addition, I worked as a Hazardous Materials Instructor for the National Tank Truck Carriers (NTTC) providing Registered Inspector training for fifteen years and as a cargo tank roadside inspection trainer for the FMCSA National Training Center for twenty years.

We provide cargo tank inspector training at your facility.

We are the only mobile trainer who brings all the above testing devices to each class for hands-on training.

We offer the initial and three-year recurrent training for cargo tank inspectors who test and inspect DOT Specification cargo tanks.​

We perform on-site terminal records, compliance inspection, and evaluation. When finished you'll receive a report of any defects discovered and the corrective action necessary to meet compliance.

2025 Travel Schedule:
This year we have traveled through 26 states presenting hands-on cargo tank inspector training classes.
September 2025 Southern California
October 2025 Fairbanks and Anchorage, Alaska
November 2025 Oklahoma, Tennessee, Ohio, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, and Arizona.
We do offer Zoom training classes for those facilities than can't wait until we travel through your area to present the hands-on training.

Thank you for contacting Cargo Tank Compliance LLC. We provide cargo tank inspector training on-site at your facility. This training is hand-on and meets the federal function specific training for pressure relief device bench testing, thickness testing, and spark testing calibrations. Our one-day training class is customized to only the types of cargo tanks you test and inspect. You won't lose your inspector(s) for two to three days to travel to a training class.
